Coastal Tranquillity

Coastal Tranquillity is a study in low contrast. Tones sit within a narrow range, and the calm that produces is the entire point of the room.
With colour dialled down, proportion has to carry the design. The bench heights, the island length and the spacing between elements have all been resolved carefully enough that the room feels effortless.
Handling is soft throughout: eased edges, quiet hardware, joinery that closes without noise. It suits a house where the kitchen is visible from everywhere.
The result is a working room that never intrudes — it does its job and then recedes into the wider living space.
