We collect the information you provide when joining the KBQ edit, requesting information or contacting us. This may include your name, email address, professional details, location, interests and your self-reported relationship with NKBA.

We use this information to send KBQ stories, news and occasional partner offers, understand our readership, respond to enquiries and improve our publishing. NKBA relationship answers are self-reported and are not treated as verified membership or sponsorship.

We record when and how marketing consent was given. You can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email. We do not reactivate an unsubscribed or suppressed address without the mailing platform’s required confirmation process.

Information is stored securely and may be processed by trusted email, newsletter, website hosting and customer-management providers acting for us. We retain it only as long as needed for these purposes and legal obligations.

With your permission, we use privacy-respecting website analytics (Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode) to understand which stories and projects are read — never who is reading them. Analytics only run if you choose “Accept analytics”; you can change your choice at any time from the Cookie preferences link in the footer. We do not collect advertising or personalisation data, and analytics never include names, email addresses, search terms or form entries.
