Project story

Boffie Mirage Ensuite is designed around one occupant’s preference for simplicity, but it never feels spare. A generous vanity, walk-in shower, concealed storage and freestanding bath give the room the practical framework, while natural materials and texture create a quieter sense of luxury.

The home’s exterior brickwork continues inside, linking architecture and interior in a way that makes the ensuite feel grounded rather than decorated. Appointed after consent, the design had to work within an established floor plan and lighting scheme. Its success lies in that restraint: a lasting room shaped by material depth, daylight and the pleasure of a proper pause.

Judges’ comment

The combination of a gorgeous shower, well-balanced material palette and a practical layout creates a timeless bathroom with depth, function and character. The continuation of the exterior brickwork brings warmth, texture and architectural connection, while keeping the design cost conscious. A refined and calming ensuite that delivers an impressive result for its price point.
