Lakeside Sophistication is a kitchen designed to stay quiet within a modern holiday home. Its open-plan position, close to the master-suite entry and framed by views toward Lake Wānaka, required a plan that could ground the room without turning it into the loudest thing in it.
Natural texture and muted alpine tones carry the kitchen through the wider architecture. The material palette is restrained, the spatial planning clear and the room’s presence subtle but assured. It is a kitchen that understands the value of continuity, particularly when the setting is already doing so much.
